Dolphin - Restarting the Dolphin Ocean Service

Sometimes the Dolphin Ocean Service which enables your data uploads stops running or gets hung up for various reasons.  When it does, your data no longer uploads to Gaidge and your charts become out of date. Look on your Server’s desktop and Start Menu for either Services or Windows Administrative Tools/Services. You can also use Search to find it.

Once you locate it, open with a double-click (or single click if it’s on a menu.) Find the Dolphin Ocean Service – Right click it and select Restart (even if it shows as started.) You may also click on Restart on the left side of the panel if available.

Once the restart is complete you can close out of Services and your data should begin uploading again this evening or let us know and we can manually pull you data to get it up to date.

Dolphin - Version 11

If you are on Dolphin Management version 11 or above, 2 other services are also used. They must all Log On As the same user. It is generally good practice to restart all 3 of these services.
