Release Notes

All new versions generally contain minor bug fixes and enhancements, here are the major features and enhancements:

March 2024

Happy Spring!   đŸŒ¼

  • Added the Insurance field to the Insurance page 

  • If a patient is self-pay – system now sets a green check mark to indicate that insurance is complete 
  • Added Records as an appointment type
  • Links in Header/Tx Rec now go to specific chevron on Treatment Recommended Check List
  • Label for exam on Starts Check List is now NP Exam
  • Setting patient status to Pending no longer prompts to schedule an appointment
  • Can now Hide Details for any number of Add-Ons

Bug Fixes

  • Follow-up sort now only applies to patients with a follow-up date
  • If you change one of 2 RPs to contact only – the other is now set to Financial
  • Corrected the status on the Collect Fee tab
  • The Closed filter (under more filters/phase) now works correctly
  • Changed informational popup icons from ! to i
  • The clear icon (x) no longer disappears from the search box
  • Statuses are now updating as expected

February 2024

Appointments can now be mapped as ObservationReady – these patients will come into GCM with a status of Obs Ready (instead of Obs No prior Tx)

December 2023

  • Newly added Patient’s names will display in Orange Font until NP Forms have been sent .
  • We have changed the Sign Contract chevron to Contract and the link to Sign Contract to View Contract
  • Patients will move from Starts to Closed one business day after fee is collected and start appointment is confirmed.

July 2023

Exams Check List/Patient Header

  • Patient Name in the Patient Header is now displayed with larger and bolder font.
  • When Exams Check List is complete, the color of the patient’s name in the Patient Queue and the in the Patient Header will change to Green:

If the Exams Check List is not complete, the patient’s name in the Patient Header will be displayed in Orange.

  • Changing a patient’s Exam Outcome now prompts you the option to create a New Appointment.  All Outcome changes except No Treatment Indicated, Inactivated and Treatment Recommended generate this prompt.
  • In the Patient Queue and Header sections Examshas been relabeled Appts.  Clicking on the Appts link will open the patient’s next appointment and includes a new section, Appt History which displays the patient’s two most recent past appointments. 
  • If there are any future appointments, the NEXT appointment displays. If there are no past appointments, the next two appointments display.
  • If there are any past appointments, the LAST appointment displays. If there are no future appointments, the previous two appointments are displayed.

Patient Queue

  • Missing Forms Button/filter will now return patients who have not been sent New Patient Forms.  The patients that are returned in the filter are color coded as:
    • Amber:  Patients who have been sent New Patient Forms but not returned them.
    • Red:  Patients who have never been sent a New Patient Form.

  • Missing Payments Button/Filter now displays all patients who have a signed contract, and Collect Fee is not set to Posted.
  • You can now Collect Fee and schedule a Start Appointment for patients that are still in the Treatment Recommended bucket.  Navigate to the Starts section by clicking in the Patient Header Ă  Starts.  Click on the corresponding link to navigate to Collect Fee or Schedule:

The links will not be activated for patients that are in the Exams/Consults or Closed sections.

Treatment Options/Slider

  • Estimated Benefit Remaining insurance can now include cents ($ .00).  Cents will be displayed in:

  • Patient -> Insurance Estimated Benefit Remaining
  • Treatment Option -> Estimated Benefit Remaining
  • Treatment Option -> Summary
  • Treatment Option -> Treatment Fee
  • Presentation Slider -> Summary
  • Presentation Slider -> Final Payment
  • Contract

  • Dual Insurance Primary Override label was changed from Court Order to Make Primary.
