Adding Patient Insurance Information
If a patient has insurance, once you have verified their benefits, update Consult Manager with the information.
Navigate to the patient header and click on insurance.
Entering a patient's insurance information
- Change from Self-Pay to Insured
- Select Carrier Name
- If you are In-Network or follow a fee schedule place this $ here
- Their co-insurance amount or percentage of fee insurance pays. Always defaults to %.
- Enter the patient's lifetime maximum remaining benefit
- Select Verified
- Save
