Adding Patient Insurance Information

If a patient has insurance, once you have verified their benefits, update Consult Manager with the information.

Navigate to the patient header and click on insurance.

Entering a patient's insurance information

  1. Change from Self-Pay to Insured
  2. Select Carrier Name
  3. If you are In-Network or follow a fee schedule place this $ here
  4. Their co-insurance amount or percentage of fee insurance pays.  Always defaults to %.
  5. Enter the patient's lifetime maximum remaining benefit
  6. Select Verified
  7. Save
