Navigating the Site

When you open Gaidge, the Dashboard displays. The dashboard presents a snapshot of vital information for your practice, including exams, starts, production and A/R.

At the top of the screen next to the Gaidge logo you will see the name of the page you are currently viewing. To the right are links to the Gaidge Support phone number and email address, and Gaidge Help followed by Announcements which displays the number of unread announcements. 

Navigational Menu

The  navigational menu is at the left side of your screen.  There are various icons representing the different pages of Gaidge: Settings, Dashboard, Reports, Goals, Summary, plus Overhead and Forms if you have those additional packages.

Hover your mouse over the menu area and to have it expand to display the names of the various items. Click on any item to open it and then new page’s icon is highlighted. To view icons only, click to check the Pin sidebar box, you can still expand by clicking arrow button at the bottom, click again to Collapse. 

An arrow to the right of any menu item indicates there are additional selections within that item. Hover your mouse over any of the main sections to display the additional options and click to navigate directly to that page.

Date & Location

To select a different date range, click on the Selected Period drop-down box. To keep the new range as your default, click Set Default. You may also change your Selected Location with its drop-down box.

Viewing Reports

Click on Reports and select a group of charts to view, e.g., Production & Collections. Once the chart opens, you may also click on the tabs above the chart to switch to different groups of charts, Production & Collections is highlighted.

To the right of the chart title is the help symbol which you can click to get an explanation of the chart along with any formulas used and the default target if the chart contains a benchmark. To its right is the reports by location icon which opens a new page with separate graphs for each of your locations

Hover over any bar or dot on the graph to view the data value for that item. At the right of each graph is the legend, which includes the values for the last month in your selected date range. Click anywhere on the Show Location Details bar to open the data grid with values for each month. Once in the data grid, click on the icon at the left of all locations to swap the X and Y axis, click the download icon to create a comma delimited file (.CSV) for spreadsheet programs. 

Chart and Alert Help

Charts in Gaidge have two types of help: general help and alert help.

Chart Help, opened by the help icon next to the title of the chart, 

includes a description of the chart, definitions and formulas used in calculations and tips. It may even contain a link back here to the Gaidge Knowledge Base.

Alert help is available if you have missed or exceeded a benchmark. A yellow triangle Alert icon displays if the percentage is below (or above) the target. 

Hovering the mouse pointer over the dot on the line graph will display the actual data number and/or percentage and the amount above target. Click on the triangle to display Alert Help for that chart.
